The provinces of eastern Finland and their central cities have nominated the enchanting city of Savonlinna as their candidate for the title of European Capital of Culture (ECoC) 2026. The prestigious title will usher in an abundance of benefits to the area - including international connections and unlimited, unforeseen possibilities.
